The store front of All Together Now in the Ukranian Village of Chicago, IL

So Glad You Made It

All Together Now is a funky little restaurant, wine shop, and cheese counter in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village neighborhood. It exists to gather people around food and drink. The wine is natural, the cheese is extra-special, and the food highlights the tastiest things about being a Midwesterner.

All Together Now is led by Erin Carlman Weber (founder and owner), Abigail Zielke (chef), Kate Haleblian (sales and operations), and Rachel Johnston (GM). This quartet is backed by an indispensable team of hardworking, creative, often silly people.

All Together Now was founded in 2018 by Erin Carlman Weber and Derek Herbster, along with partners Chris Radtke and Jonny Hunter of Underground Meats. Nathan Warkentin of Original Action Group is responsible for ATN’s interior design and brand identity.

+ Kate's Thoughts

Q: When and where were you happiest? A: I took a solo trip to Amsterdam in my early 20’s, and I vividly remember the bliss of walking along a canal late at night headed back to my Airbnb, with a chinese box of fried chicken in hand, slightly cocktail drunk after visiting a beautiful bar.

Q: What is it that you most dislike?
A: Bats. The flying kind.

Q: What is your greatest extravagance?
Getting up each day and working for the dream of sustaining and evolving a place where people can eat, drink, and be merry

Q: What are your favorite names?
A: Luella, Poppy, All Together Now

Q: If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
A: All three members of Wilson Phillips circa 1990

Q: When and where were you happiest?
A: I’m often happy. My most recent peak was while driving solo headed east on the Chicago Skyway at 5:45am with the windows down and the music loud while the sun rose over skeletons of industry along the waterway. It was an unlikely but powerful moment of affirmation that I’m exactly where I should be.

Q: What is your greatest extravagance?
A: I will stubbornly spend an irresponsible amount of money on DIY projects I have no business taking on. It’ll be fun, they said…

Q: What is your greatest extravagance?
A: Letting myself have nap time as an adult.

Q: What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A: Summer evenings outside, when the birds are still chirping, sharing wine and laughing with my friends. The more dogs running around the better.

Q: What is your most treasured possession? A: A charcoal drawing my high school art teacher and mentor gifted me from his time at RISD in the 70s.

Q: What is the trait you most deplore in others? A: When people lack basic empathy and kindness, or if you can’t laugh at yourself.

Q: What do you consider your greatest achievement?
A: Maintaining the curiosity and sensitivity I’ve had since I was little. Oh, and that one time me and Questlove looked lovingly into one another’s eyes.
