We’re letting the Spanish art of doing nothing (but doing it very well) flow free and strong for La Hora del Vermut, a joyful, tasty evening with Cueva Nueva. Spain’s “vermouth hour” is akin to Italy’s aperitivo, France’s apéro, and our own American happy hour. But the tradition of la hora del vermut diverges decisively from its peers in its insistence on wallowing unapologetically in the magic of the moment. So what the heck does that mean for you on the evening of September 25? Expect a laidback party with salty Spanish-style snacks aplenty, great music, and generous quantities of bittersweet, herbaceous Cueva Nueva Vermut Rojo. And Phi , Cueva Nueva’s co-founder, will be around to make sure we’re getting it right.
