Mood Masters: A Fragrance & Wine Workshop with Diptyque

As people who spend a fair amount of time with our noses in wine glasses, we appreciate a thoughtfully-crafted sensory encounter. Thus, we LOVE Diptyque. This French candle crafter makes some of the dreamiest, most evocative, just plain enjoyable fragrances we've ever had the joy of sniffing, and we're thrilled to welcome them to All Together Now for an evening of scents, sips, and nibbles.

We've got wanderlust! At this spring travel-themed session, guests will move through thoughtfully-selected groupings of wine, snacks, Diptyque candles, and personal fragrances, and each station will bring you to a different kind of spring adventure. Think outdoorsy romps through rivers and forests, European city strolls and lazy afternoons with a carafe (or two) of wine, and the classic sun-and-water setup.

Ticket includes guided wine tasting, small bite pairings, and scent lesson. You'll also enjoy a shopping discount at All Together Now and take home your choice of a large Diptyque candle or a solid perfume (ideal cargo in your carry-on bag for those spring excursions).

It’s gonna be G.O.A.T.s and goat cheese when our pal Veronica Pedraza comes to town. Veronica is head cheesemaker at Blakesville Creamery, a farmstead operation on the shores of Lake Michigan north of Milwaukee. Since launching in 2020, Blakesville’s cheeses have stacked up accolades and cemented a permanent residency on the All Together Now cheese counter. Veronica is joining our wine director Leigh for an afternoon of friends, fun, wine, and cheese. Guests will taste a range of Blakesville cheeses, learning about different styles, rinds, milk types, and seasonality right from the cheesemaker. Leigh will pair each Blakesville cheese with one of our favorite spring wines to complete the party.

Tickets are $40 each and available here.

Floral Design Workshop with Nerine

Our internal dialogue when we look at flowers: Hot dang, nature! Look what you did! And nature really brings it in the spring, so we thought it’d be a good time* to team up with Nerine, a local floral studio that leans into the flower-ness of flowers. We’re pleased to host them for a night of arrangement artistry, wine, and snacks. At this workshop, Nerine will show you how to create a beautiful, sculptural centerpiece using local, spring blooms. Attendees will learn sustainable mechanics, best practices for modern floral design and leave with a seasonal, unique vase arrangement. We’ll make sure you don’t go hungry or thirsty, too. Your ticket includes the workshop and all materials, plus a glass of wine** and tasty snacks from All Together Now.

* Did you notice the date? It’s awful close to Mother’s Day. Maybe you can bring your mom, eh?
** Prefer non-alcoholic wine? You’ll be able to indicate that at checkout.

Ancient Activities: Clay Carving & Wine Enjoyment

A lot's changed in the past few millennia, but humans have been drinking wine and making things from clay through it all. The past melds with the present during this clay carving (plus sprinkle of wine) workshop with Danielle Chutinthranond of Monsoon Pottery. Danielle will teach the basics of the inlay techniques used to create Monsoon's signature blue and white wares, and participants will create their own original porcelain plate. Danielle will also discuss the history of inlay and the power of the traditional Asian symbols and motifs she references in her own work, encouraging you to craft your own. Participants are encouraged to bring ideas and line drawings to reference.

And that other older-than-time activity, wine? The All Together Now team has a tasting in store for you featuring a moderate historical angle and maximum deliciousness. We'll also provide a picnic-style dinner to fuel your clay carving work.

This workshop includes:
- A three hour session with hands-on instruction of the inlay technique
- One small porcelain plate for each participant to decorate (additional plates available for $40 each)
- A history lesson on inlay and blue & white wares
- Wine tasting and dinner

Plates usually take 2-3 weeks to fire and finish after the workshop and will be available for pickup at All Together Now when ready.

$120 ticket includes workshop, lesson, and all materials from Monsoon Pottery, plus a guided tasting of three natural wines and light dinner from All Together Now.

Third Coast Soif celebrates the notions of “wine as community” and “wine as beverage” in equal measures. On that, there’s no better partner for us than Middle Brow to kickstart the off-Soif fun. These Midwestern winemakers, Christmas tree vendors, fermentation fanatics, and fun folks are never not pushing the envelope, and they do it all while keeping us full of damn fine pizza, bread, beer, and wine. We’re fortunate to call them friends and even luckier to host them for a crosstown classic of shenanigans, tavern-style pies, and Michigan wine. Come for the wine, stay for the camaraderie. Blind tasting is a technique used in wine trainings, formal examinations, and occasionally by our wine director when she's bored and wants to stump us. This approach to involves tasting wine without any information about what's in the glass. It helps folks at all levels of wine appreciation to understand, appreciate, and evaluate without bias.

In this session, our wine director Leigh will take you through the process of evaluating four different wines based on what you perceive with your senses. She'll share tips, terminology, and a useful framework for thinking about drinking. You'll become a Wine Detective™. (Kidding. Kind of.)

Tickets are $65 per person. Get yours here.

Natural Wine & Natural Dye with Laila Textiles

We're gonna be wine-ing and dyeing with natural dyer Liz Mortenson of Laila Textiles. Liz is joining us for a hands-on exploration of a couple of excellent 'natural' things: making lovely stuff with plant dyes, and drinking delicious low-intervention wines.

This is a three-hour workshop with a primary focus on discovering the art of natural dye and how to bundle dye with plants. The ATN team will punctuate the experience with a guided natural wine tasting and picnic-style dinner.

Liz's natural dyeing workshop will cover:

- Basics of natural dyeing including fabric prep, mordants, and modifiers
- Overview of natural dye plants and how to extract plant dye
- How to naturally bundle dye fabric with plants
- Each student will create and leave with a one-of-a kind bundle dyed 100% silk scarf as well as a PDF with information covered at workshop

$115 ticket includes natural dyeing workshop and all materials, guided tasting of three natural wines, and light dinner.

At this special session, guests will move through thoughtfully-selected groupings of wine, snacks, Diptyque candles, and personal fragrances. Each station will transport you to a classic autumnal experience. Think crispy hikes, leaf voyeurism, cable knit sweaters, an oven full of root vegetables, fuzzy slippers, and that book you've been meaning to read all summer long.

Tickets are $135 each and include a guided wine tasting, small bite pairings, and scent lesson, plus a large Diptyque candle of your choice to take home and an in-store shopping discount at All Together Now.
